Lessons From the Letter S
Hello Awesome People, I hope we are having an amazing week. This week's post is an interesting one full of many lessons and I am sure you will be blessed and liberated by this post. Do well to share the link for this post on your various media platform, don't hoard such a wonderful piece to yourself alone. Enjoy and get blessed
I am sure you are still surprised about the theme for this post, well I am too. I am yet to get how I came about it but being a child of God gives me access to inspirations from the Holy One, so I am not so surprised after all.
Not too long ago, I was going through my jottings and I saw something that will bless and liberate someone so I decided to share. Here are the lessons gotten from two words that begin with the letter S;
Stillness: God shows himself in quietness, he does not operate in a crowded and noisy environment. So, if your life is too busy you will see little or none of his manifestations.
Noise are in different dimensions for example, when you are worried or agitated you can't see God at work, that was why before God moved during the departure of the Israelite from Egypt, God asked them to be still in Exo14:13, I believed what he meant was paraphrased, "Israel let your heart which is like a troubled water be still, I don't work under pressure, so stay calm". I believe that is why God's word in Philip 4:6 admonished us to be anxious for nothing, because God doesn't show himself in anxiety.
Another dimension of noise is when you can't have a quite time, a time when you are not busy with anything else but God, a time allocated just for God. God can't speak to you if you don't have his time, if the only thing you do is talk, gist, party, read academic books and novels, watch movies, listen to music and get unnecessarily busy. Until you create time for God it will be difficult to have an encounter with him. Avoid noise
Sin: One of the most widely used word. Here is the thing, sin is not just an act of wrong but also an insult to your divine nature.
It is a substandard living, living below your value, worth and Glory. That is why God's word says in Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fallen short of God's Glory. Sin takes one down, that is why God's word say Righteousness exalt but sin is a reproach.
When God gives an instruction it is for your Good and for your lifting. Live in righteousness that is your realm and standard. Don't disvalue yourself by living in sin.
