The Change That Christ Brings

I thought first I had to clean up my life Now I'm hearing I just need to cling to the light.

In march 2016, during my first year in the university I visited my uncle. I joined them for service in their church the weekend I came and nothing really made sense to me during the sermon, I came back home not impacted, blessed or renewed.

Fast forward to four years and few months later I visited again, this time I joined them to church and everything made more sense now, I came home that Sunday blessed, impacted and renewed. This is the change only Christ can bring.

As I thought about this during the church service, I realized how much Jesus has changed me. It is really amazing how Jesus picks one up and cleanse the person beyond recognition, what an awesome God.

Nothing about God makes sense to you  until you are saved, this is confirmed in 1 Cor 1:18 that God's wisdom is foolishness to those perishing. You will go to church and learn about living right but when you are back home, you will do more terrible things, you make promises and resolutions that you break two minutes later, how stressful that can be.

It doesn't have to be this difficult, I am sure about this. When you get saved and receive the Holy Spirit you get this strength impacted on you by God's grace to live right, it no longer becomes a struggle you just realize that those  things holding you back can't hold you anymore. Why? Because who Jesus has set free is free indeed. Glory

I made up my mind at some point to change and clean up my life then I can start following Jesus but that was impossible because I  couldn't change myself. Once I got saved, the Holy Spirit helped me, I don't know how he did it but I was changed. 

So, don't wait to become better just come to him who changes a person from the inside to the outside. Come to Jesus broken, hurt, battered, confused, messed up, frustrated and more, I am confidently sure he can and will change your life for the best.

Unforgiveness!

Happy Thursday Guys 😀 I hope you are seeing how fast January is? for all those giving January 77 days 😂😂. Anyway I feel days are moving fast because of the multiplication of evil, may God help us in Jesus name 🙌. I really don't like movies with sad endings, I always wish I can rewrite the story to end well. Sad movies trouble my mind as funny as that may sound, you may think 🤔 "but it's just a movie". In reality not everyone has a happy ending and I appreciate writers who makes us understand this. Movies like Acrimony and many others including real life experiences has proven that unforgiveness is an attribute that can ruin a person's life.
