Your Little Efforts

Good day everyone, how are you all doing? Hope you are safe and well. I sympathise with all those who have been affected by the current situation in our country, Nigeria. I pray that the terrible situations in this country will be handled soonest, in Jesus name. Amen

Today's post seeks to encourage us never to give up as we keep progressing through life. Don't give up on your little efforts. Remember to read, comment and share the link.

So today I want to tell a story of my snail and I. During the raining season we usually find snails in our compound and on several occasions we have attempted to gather and rear them because of our love for snail meat but it didn't yield any result because this snails always escape.

So one day we found another snail in the house, the size was quite encouraging so, I took it inside knowing that if I leave it outside it will escape. We all know how slow snails can be but I don't trust them when it comes with to the their movement.

Not too long after that, I came where I kept the snail, I noticed it was weak because of lack of water, so I put a little water in a bowl and placed the snail inside to help the snail regain strength. I stepped out for few minutes, only to return not to find the snail where I kept it.

I was surprised not to find it and was wondering where it could be, by the time I found it I was shocked at how it reached where it was. To cut the long story short, after days of keeping the snail I killed it and it was sad to see the tiny meat I got from it.

Here is the thing, the little effort made by this snail to escape, yielded result and I realized how patient I should be when doing anything. It may look like there is no profit now but if I  keep at it in due time I will profit. Little efforts over time brings massive profit.

I believe the reason a lot of us get tired and frustrated is because we are looking for quick and easy profit forgetting Rome wasn't built in a day.

No successful man became successful without consistency, it took days, weeks, months and sometimes years. We should never stop putting in efforts, never.

Another thing to note is there are things that fuel our efforts like the water fueled the snail's movement. The right mindset, the right association, the right skill, the right decisions and most importantly a blossoming relationship with your maker.

I believe so much in God and I know I can never make true success without his involvement. Remember, never get tired of putting in more efforts, it will surely pay.
