Cast Your Lot

Happy New Month to you, what a privilege it is to see the last month of the year 2020. I am grateful we made it. The year has been full of so many blessings and it is for the mercies of God things didn't turn worst.

In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of King Ahasuerus, they cast pur, that is the lot, before Haman from day to day and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is the month Adar. Esther 3:7

The story of Queen Esther is a very interesting one to me, I learn alot from the book of Esther. One day I was studying the book of Esther, this time I didn't learn from Esther but from Haman.

Permit me to say Haman was a diligent man, he knew what he wanted and he could go the extra mile to get it. Haman wanted to eliminate Mordecai and the Jews, he was diligent enough to perform rituals everyday for a full year to achieve his goal. He actually inspired me...

Here is the lesson, cast your lot, what does this mean? It means make all the necessary preparations to be where you want and get what you want. Preparation is so vital, that is why he took Haman a full year before he could tell the King what he want. All thanks to God, his plan didn't succeed.

Let's imagine preparing for the right thing with God's backing, there will be absolutely nothing that will stop you from achieving what you are set to achieve. Cast your lot, it might take time but it will definitely be worth it.

Most people who have achieved great things took time to prepare, that is to get something great you have to prepare greatly. Even Queen Esther took time to prepare by praying and fasting before coming to the King, this implies  that preparation is key to great achievement both in the positive and negative.

But we are certainly not doing the negative
Brother cast your lot
Sister cast your lot
Until you cast your lot, you can't appear before the King.
