"Your money is 150"  Why? How come?

Sometime ago I boarded a cab home, there was a little hindrance on the road leading to my destination but the driver managed to find a way to my location, this was our conversation;
Me: Oga how much is your money
Driver: it is 150 ooh
Me: seriously! Take, this is 100 naira. Your money is meant to be 50 naira but out of love for you and the stress you went through take this money.
Driver: (laughing) thank you.

Many times we become apologetic and beggarly when not necessary because we don't know our right. Chinonso Okonna

This is the mechanism of our enemy 'the devil', he uses your lack of knowledge to fight you, the devil doesn't care what you think or who you are as long as he is sure you don't know your right.

The driver would have felt he tricked me and I would have thought he did me a favour if I didn't know my right. Knowing your right makes you stand tall, confident and courageous in the face of any situation.

So it is with God, if you don't know your right in Christ and all God has for you, you will be living like a pauper and constantly begging.

God expects you to come to him with his promises, you give him reasons why he should answer you. Tell him what he says in his word, it is your right as his child to inherit his promises.

You are not humble by begging for what you should be demanding for. Know your right, it gives you an edge.
