Not Just Celibacy

How are you enjoying your new year? Hope you are making the year what you want of it. It is important we start the year by making up our minds on what we truly want and this is one way we can make the year what we want of it.

" All the celibate brethren, can I see your hands up? 🙌 Ok, that's great and I am super proud of you".

Here is the thing, it is great to be celibate while single but I have a question for you.

What's the reason for your celibacy?

Is it so you can prove a point?

Is it because you have lost count of those you have had sex with?

Is it because you are dating a believer?

Is it because you have a desire to make God proud and you are trying to live his plan for your life?

Until your reason is valid enough, you may just be celibate and not sexually pure

You may just be that celibate Guy or lady who do other stuffs apart from sex.

You may also be that Guy or lady who is celibate for a while, falls, stand, falls again, stand and it goes on and on.

Until you understand the risk of premarital and extramarital sex, your decision to be sexually pure cannot be attained.

It is important we know that God loves us so much and anything he demands we do is not to prevent us from having fun or being happy, it is for us to have eternal Joy and fulfillment and to prevent us from getting hurt.

You being sexually pure is not for God's benefit, your parents benefit, your spouse's benefit or your friends benefit, it is 💯 for your good. There are many disadvantages of premarital,extramarital sex & every sexual impurity, they include unplanned pregnancy, STDs, hurt and regrets, lack of focus and concentration and most importantly separation from God, there are so many more limitations to sexual impurity.

Disobedience to God separates one from God and this separation hinders us from getting all that God has for us  and makes us prone to enemy attack,I can go on and on about what God have for us which are massive. But in summary, if you lack God's presence, you lack to much.

I may not have enough reasons for you to be sexually pure but I believe the presence of God is more than enough reason for you to avoid sexual impurity. It is not only sexual sin that causes separation but every form of disobedience to God, separation also keeps us away from God's goodies and gives the enemy license to our lives.

Remember, if you be willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land.
