Until You Learn

Sometime ago, I and my family discovered how to make a certain meal. In Nigeria, we eat what we call swallow and soup, swallows are of different types, they include garri, akpu or fufu, amala, demo,alibo, cornmeal, wheat etc.

We actually devised a way of making a healthier wheat swallow by using wheat, guinea corn and millet. This became a standard in the house, few months later we were privileged to receive a full bag of millet, guinea corn and maize.

There was no problem on what to do with all that we had because we had already learnt how to make proper use of it. This got me thinking, what would have happened if we didn't learn how to use this cereals?

This also taught me that God will likely not give you something until you have learnt to use it. Sometimes, it's not that God doesn't want to answer your prayers it's just that if he gives you what you want you won't be able to handle it.

You may not be able to handle that money, business, opportunity and relationship if you haven't learnt what you are supposed to learn. The blessings may become curses if you haven't learnt all you are to know.

God's refusal may just be for your good, not because he just doesn't want you to have it. There are certain things you will never achieve until you learn what you ought to learn.

At the end, I was thankful God taught I and my family how to use it before he brought it, if not we wouldn't have enjoyed the Blessing it brought.
