True Love

You can never love truly until you love God, I believe it is impossible to love God and hate others. The love of God in us teaches us to tolerate and make excuses for others.

Sometime in 2020 I went to visit a relative, they had this little boy who was so strong headed, it was really annoying doing certain things with him because I had never seen a child so troublesome and unapologetic.

One day, this little boy did something that pissed me off, I was so upset and I just decided to avoid him in every way I could. 

As the thought of avoiding him was running through my mind, the Holy Spirit brought to my attention that this is practically how humans are to him, he told me how annoying and stubborn we can be, despite all these his love for us never changes rather his love remain patient until we start loving him too.

Immediately, my countenance changed and despite his behaviour love filled my heart as I looked at him.
The reason we give up on people is because we don't love like God loves, we don't make excuses for others, just one action and we have written the person off.

It is shocking how God loved us while we were yet sinners, stubborn, unapologetic, insulting, annoying, and many more. Our attitude didn't determine his love for us,he gave excuses for us and he still is.

This is true love, he practically had no reason to love us yet he did, how amazing. But here we are giving reasons why someone doesn't deserve our love.

True love is not based on reason but on decision. You choose to love irrespective of how a person behave, that is true love, that is how to love like God.

Decide to love for no reason, that's true love.

Unforgiveness!

Happy Thursday Guys 😀 I hope you are seeing how fast January is? for all those giving January 77 days 😂😂. Anyway I feel days are moving fast because of the multiplication of evil, may God help us in Jesus name 🙌. I really don't like movies with sad endings, I always wish I can rewrite the story to end well. Sad movies trouble my mind as funny as that may sound, you may think 🤔 "but it's just a movie". In reality not everyone has a happy ending and I appreciate writers who makes us understand this.
