Sometime early this year, I had to travel for an event, I spent about two weeks there. Towards the end of the two weeks I was so busy and I found it difficult to communicate properly using the phone. During that time I couldn't communicate properly with a friend, we were so disconnected and I couldn't place what was wrong.

I was wondering what had happened, there was no issue between us, no disagreement but there was lack of communication. Lack of communication isn't no talking because you can talk to someone and not communicate.

Communication is the ability to understand the person you are relating with.

This event made me understand more about our relationship with God, during my days in NYSC camp, I prayed daily but I knew I was not communicating with him, there was just something I couldn't place. There was just something missing.

To  communicate properly there are two things that are super important they include;

1. Quality time

2. Critical attention

To communicate effectively there is need for quality time and critical attention with the person you are communicating with. 

To have a good relationship and connect to God and people, it is important to communicate effectively and as I said earlier it involves quality time and critical attention.
