It Hurt, It Really Does
Welcome to the first week of May 2021😊, last month was amazing and full of lessons as usual. What a privilege it is to be preserved at this time in a world as unstable as ours. God is indeed faithful. May the coming month bring manifold testimonies to us in Jesus name. Amen
Today's post as usual was inspired by the Holy Spirit hence have the capacity to cause positive changes in your life. Read, comment and share as you get blessed, inspired and motivated. Enjoy
Recently I was thinking about a person I thought to be a friend and how much I had invested to show my love but it didn't look like this person cared but felt my care and love meant nothing.
As I was deep in thought I told God, "Jesus, this really hurt, you know right?" And the Holy Spirit replied, " Yea I Know that's how I feel each time I keep calling people and I am ignored, it hurts after I invest so much of my time to show this people that they mean so much to me".
" You know what hurt most? This people acts like I don't exist, they behave like I mean nothing. All my efforts is of no value to them, you know, it really hurts?".
Most times as individuals we meet people and start investing into the friendship, after sometime it looks like we are alone in it. It really hurts and I have had a fair share, but here is the thing I am not talking about us now, let's talk about how Jesus feel each time we put others as priority and give him the back sit, you enjoy his company, receive his goodies and act like it was nothing.
Just imagine a person who paid such a heavy price so he can have fellowship with you yet you ignore him. I know how much that kind of behavior hurt me, so I can feel a little of what our saviour feels.
Please, the price paid by Christ is too much to be neglected by those he paid it for. Cause him Joy by fellowshipping and putting him as priority.
Thank you so much for this...
