Why Should I Marry 2?
Hello 🤩
How was your day? Mine was great, I hope yours was too? ☺️
Last week, we started a series on, "Why should I Marry"? It has blessed and is still blessing so many people. Do well to check out last week's post so as to get a full understanding on the subject.
Remember to comment and share the link with others as you get blessed, inspired and motivated. Enjoy
From the previous post, it was established that getting a companion is important but getting a suitable companion is super important. From the scripture, Genesis 2:19, God told us that he was going to make a suitable companion that will help man.
Another criteria to consider is, will this person be able to help me? If the question is no, then you should hold back. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 explains better, it says and I paraphrase "two are better than one, they have a good reward for their labour, they can assist each other, keep themselves warm and win battles together".
It will be an aberration to have a union that is weaker than each of you alone. What's the profit of coming together when there is no advantage of your union. To be married, you both have to be an advantage together.
If you both can't be helpful to each other's lives, then there is a problem. There has to be an advantage together spiritually, physically, mentally, financially, emotionally and other wise.
Your union should be one that when you check your life together, it is better and more beautiful than being alone. God's word in Deuteronomy 32:30 says and I paraphrase "one will defeat a thousand and two ten thousand". It is evident that God's intention for marriage was for the good of the both parties that will be involved, he wants you to have company, have the best person and be helped in every area of your life.
I believe God wants the best for me and you so if he gives specifications it is definitely for our good.
