I heard the story of a Japanese man named Issei Sagawa who killed, mutilated, cannibalized and raped a lady by the name Renee Hartevelt in Paris in the year 1981.

From the story told, Issei had the desire to kill and eat any lady he gets attracted to, so during his post graduate study in Paris he met his victim and killed her in 1981.

Issei was interviewed few years ago, he made it clear that he didn't have any regrets and wasn't sorry for fullfilling his desires. He also said that he would want to be killed slowly and painfully by a pretty young lady. 

I know you must be calling him crazy and evil now, I also think he is. But here is the thing, this is what happens when your human desires takes over you, you will see nothing wrong with expressing what you feel is the real you.

Many people wish to be with people of the same gender, some with animals, some people have the desire to get extreme things by any means, some people have the desire to kill or even eat their fellow human being.

Our Human desires can be extreme, even as believers you may sometimes have crazy desires but the Holy Spirit present in the believer puts his control on those desires. The Bible makes it clear in Rom 7:18a " I know that good does not live in me - that is in human nature", Jer 17:9 also confirms it " the heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked: who can know it".

These verses makes it clear that it is natural for humans to have these crazy desires. But the truth is you don't have to allow it rule you, you can't live a life pleasing to God if you are controlled by your human desires.

The flesh is an enemy to the spirit vice versa. You don't have to follow any desire that pops up in your mind and this will be difficult to achieved if your life is not controlled by the Holy Spirit.

To live a life that will please God and to end with him in eternity, you can't follow your human desires (good is absent there) only a life dead to flesh and alive in the spirit can please God. 

The death of Christ and his resurrection is the only thing that gives you access to the spirit life, you can be controlled by the Holy Spirit if only you can subscribe to the finished work of Christ and be free from the grip of human desires.
