In Union with Christ
Hello beautiful how is your day going I am sure the previous month was super amazing as it was for me and I hope it was for you too ☺️. I apologize for the weeks of inactivity, I miss publishing life transforming posts. I am here to stay and I promise to constantly release great content.
Today's post 'In Union with Christ' is a revelational light from the scripture that will help improve your knowledge about God, who you are and the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
I was reading my Bible few months ago and for some time I came across the phrase 'In Union with Christ'. You know, all that God has provided for us is not accessible by just praying that is asking God to give us all that we have in God through Jesus Christ.
After the great fall in the garden of Eden when Adam fell into sin a gap was created between man and God. The death of Christ removed the bridge and and Christ became the middleman that brought peace between man and God.
1 Peter 5:10a says "but after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who calls you to share his eternal Glory in union with Christ" this proves that the only way to have assess to his internal Glory is to be in union with Christ.
Rom 8:17 says "And if children then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together".
These scriptures proves that everything we have in God cannot be separated from Christ.
How then can we be in union with Christ?
Through his death, when Christ came He became human so that through his death you can become a child of God and have access to everything He has prepared, which was God's original plan from the beginning.
When you receive Christ as your personal Lord and saviour you are agreeing to die to flesh with him as he died on the cross and resurrect unto eternal life. This is the only way you can be in union with Christ and be a heir of God (Everything God owns is yours).
Christ came and died as human so you can live as a son of God. Such a wonderful work.
