Graduate Trainee Experience (1)

This is me looking all pretty and speaking with a beautiful voice 😌.

Can't believe this is the first post for the year, I have really missed writing on this platform. Feels great to be back here.

Please don't forget to comment after reading and share this amazing piece to friends and loved ones.

Started a Graduate Trainee Program in march, 2022 just right after I passed out from the compulsory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC).

It was practically one of the most engaging moment of my life, the first two weeks were crazy. I was practically thinking class every night.

I had such an amazing work environment that's literally the best I have seen. It was such an impactful six weeks of my life and I am super grateful for that opportunity. I learnt so much but I will be sharing just a few in the month of May.

You can learn just anything.

Yes, you can. I was surprised at myself during the course of the training. It was amazing to see myself doing things like graphics design, video editing, animation, audio production, course creation and more.

But of course we were only going to choose two or three of these skills to focus on.

Sneak peek
My story telling and creative writing helped me get into the training tho it was short lived, that's a story for another day.

It opened my mind to things I never imagined I would do. The environment was such a great one to learn.

You can do more than you think as long as you are in the right environment and have the right association. I also didn't believe in the self-taugth theory but now I do. You can learn absolutely anything on your own, I am not suggesting you shouldn't learn from a teacher or mentor, all I am saying is you can start doing so much on your own.

We are privileged to have the internet at our disposal hence it is wise to maximize it.

Stayed glued to this space to see more lessons learnt doing this stage of my life.

Happy New Month or perhaps Happy New Year 😁.

  1. Exactly what I tell people, as much as the internet has its gross disadvantages, so also are the advantages.
    You can learn ANYTHING
But I always advice people to always involve God when starting.
