The Mystery of Marriage.
Walking home alone after an evening service in church, several thoughts rushed through my mind but one got stucked "why shouldn't you cheat on your spouse"?
This was the highlight of my thoughts.
In the 10 commandments, He required that we serve Him alone and never bow or worship other god's, as the scripture says "Our God is a jealous God". Where is all these leading to?
In Ephesians 5:21-32, the Bible likened our relationship with Christ with that of a married couple, so, why is cheating or polygamy not accepted in God's kingdom?
It is anti-God's agenda
The same way God has commanded us not to share His attention with any other, is the same way He expects a man and woman to stay together as husband and wife and not share their attention with anyone outside their marriage.
God's intention for marriage is same as the one in the 10 commandments, you should have no one else, share your attention with no other man or woman but your spouse.
God wants first place in our lives, permit me to say this when you get married, God comes first and after Him your spouse, all these arguments about who comes first your wife or mother should not be an argument for people in kingdom marriage or people who intend to have kingdom marriage.
The scripture makes this clear and I live by the scripture, revelation speaks louder than opinion.
