Evil by Nature

"I was made this way, it's not my choice, I didn't choose to be sexually attracted to my gender, I have accepted who I am".

"I have always taken what's not mine, since I was a child, I believe since it has stayed this long that's how I was made, I shouldn't stop the real me".

Amazingly, I have heard things like this from people, and I actually get where they are coming from. Every human born on earth came with the sinful nature gotten from our first parents Adam and Eve.

So many people have used the excuse of being born sinful to claim their lifestyle is as a result of who they were made to be not their choices.

It is true humans were born evil by nature,  we came into the earth sinful but a lot of us decided (by choice) that we wanted this nature changed, so we embraced the option of salvation and transformation offered by God through His son Jesus Christ.

Dear brothers and sisters, this world is controlled by choices, you can decide to be good or you can decide to be bad, it's all in your hands.

I actually believe that it's not so easy to let go of certain characters or habits, but I believe it is possible, it all depends on you.

In the book of Joshua, Joshua told the children of Israel "choose you this day who you will serve", from the beginning of time it has always been about choice.

Adam and Eve chose to eat the forbidden fruit despite God's warning, Judas chose to betray Christ because he chose money over his master.

Let no one deceive you, you have a choice in the matter of your life and God has made us free willed creatures hence He can't force us to make any decision. It is all in your hands.

Here is the good news, once you make a decision to choose God, He helps the condition of your heart, that is He gives you the right heart so you can make the right choices. But it's all start when you realize you need His help and you choose to invite Him into your life to help you.

Humans are evil by earthly nature, but you can decide to change that by embracing your God-given nature of Holiness and Righteousness that changes your human nature.

Only when you decide can anything change.

Unforgiveness!

Happy Thursday Guys 😀 I hope you are seeing how fast January is? for all those giving January 77 days 😂😂. Anyway I feel days are moving fast because of the multiplication of evil, may God help us in Jesus name 🙌. I really don't like movies with sad endings, I always wish I can rewrite the story to end well. Sad movies trouble my mind as funny as that may sound, you may think 🤔 "but it's just a movie". In reality not everyone has a happy ending and I appreciate writers who makes us understand this. Movies like Acrimony and many others including real life experiences has proven that unforgiveness is an attribute that can ruin a person's life.
